Exciting milestone for the Cellular Phenotyping Platform (CPP)!

From June 23 to 25, 2026, the CPP successfully hosted its first hybrid online and on-site workshop on Spectral Flow Cytometry and Multimodal Imaging.

The key highlights from the intensive sessions:

•Advanced Multimodal Imaging: Dr. Cong Xu (Imaging Staff Scientist) unpacked the core principles of confocal microscopy. He introduced cutting-edge approaches integrating fluorescence imaging (Confocal & Two-Photon microscopy), and label-free imaging (Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) & Coherent Raman Scattering (CRS)) using the advanced Leica STELLARIS 8 CRS multimodal microscope at HI-TRON Mainz.

•Spectral Flow Cytometry: Dr. Claire Conche presented practical and theoretical guidance on current best practices in experimental design, spectral unmixing error detection and troubleshooting, and high-dimensional data analysis, including dimensionality reduction methods.
