A major milestone for HI-TRON Mainz!
Yesterday, the topping-out ceremony for our future research building took place on the campus of the University Medical Center Mainz.
With the topping-out crown raised, construction of the building shell is now complete and the interior work begins.
The new building will place HI-TRON in direct proximity to clinics and research institutes — an important step to further strengthen translational cancer research and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We thank everyone involved in planning and building this new home for innovative cancer immunotherapy research.
Thanks to all partners from science, politics, funding organizations, and industry – in particular to the University Medical Center Mainz, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and TRON gGmbH, as well as to the state of Rhineland-Palatinate for its trust and support in realizing this new research building.
We look forward to moving into the new facility in 2028.
